The Andrew Avery Home Movie Collection is a unique treasure documenting the people and events of Bainbridge and Decatur County, Georgia, from 1934 to the early 1950s--over 8 hours of footage is the collection. Mr. Avery, a UGA graduate, focused his camera on crops of cotton, peanuts, sugar cane, documenting the traditional farming practices of the time. The films were preserved by a grant from the Kirbo Foundation. Andrew Avery Home Movie Collection.
