Transcript: "Hello everyone! Well, it's 2012, and I figured maybe, just maybe, I need to take it to the next level with technology. So here we are with Kevin's first video cast of what's going on in Downtown Austin. Tons of crazy and exciting things. Our office here at the corner of 5th and West in Downtown is going to be surrounded by countless new apartment complexes with ground floor retail. Whole Foods is going to be building a new office tower. We have several new restaurants coming into town right around here. Cirrus Logic is moving their world headquarters just two blocks away. 300+ unit apartment complex going into the Seaholm power plant. Turning the Tom Green water treatment facility into four very activated blocks with quite a substantial apartment complex, ground floor retail... they would like to see eventually a boutique hotel and condominium project on that site. Those are yet to come. What's really exciting for me is that we're on the corner of West Avenue, and West Avenue is about to connect to Cesar Chavez. 2nd Street is going to cut through to connect the area that we're in right now, as well as 3rd Street. For me, and the people that live in this neighborhood, it's really going to make life easier to connect to Lady Bird Lake, whether I'm walking, bicycling, or if I need to drive and go to our freeway system.
