Feb 25, 2012 - Cool, but I would save the 6g. As an economy car this seems good.

Feb 29, 2012 - This car is amazing, drove one myself for a bit. Loaded with tech and much cheaper than any other brand that matches up with it. The only thing is Kia needs to beef up the SX package a bit. Maybe a 2.0 motor and a manual gearbox. But either way, very nice car.

Mar 24, 2012 - Is it possible to opt-out the engine start / stop option ? Seems to be troubling over a long run to save a few bucks on fuel.

Apr 2, 2012 - I own a new Rio 5 door EX, and I have the power folding mirror. Its part of the power options package. I get 34 mixed, but if you take it over 60, you may find your mileage drop with high wind or more than 2 people. A great ride, even more fun with the ECO off and using the sportshift. I highly recommend a test drive if your looking in this class. I can get three of my friends (6ft and 16-220 lbs) in and fit comfortably. More praise coming for style, and taste from other reviews (FOX news).
06boogers Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - the engine stop/start is an option and does not come standard. As far as I know, it is not available yet.
06boogers Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - It's a good price for what you get. If you go in to financing, there a lot of incentives to but one. You can get up to a $1000 off pretty easy if your a recent graduate. Plus the value is unmatched.
06boogers Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - The RIO is better than the forte in my opinion, I'm 6 foot and 185 and I'm just as comfortable in one as the other. You basically get a bit more power and some more cargo room when you go up to the Forte.
06boogers Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - RIO easy. I comparison shopped for months before buying, the cruze has a bit more space, but also has harder interior touches, and isnt nearly as much fun to drive. The Sonic doesn't even hold a match...
06boogers Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - I drove a friends Fit in Madison Wi, and it handled like a small van lol. And I didn't like the economy transmission in it either.
06boogers Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - You get leather, auto mirrors, lights, auto trans, heated seats, navi, satellite radio, bluetooth, steering mounted controls, 34 combined mpg, good color options, lots of fun, rain sensing wipers, better handling, cool alloy rims, sun roof, 6 speaker stereo system... and the list goes on.
06boogers Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - along with poor mileage, little to no warranty, and less value.
techdude6693 Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - its not a bit more power. My Forte has 173HP/168 torque. That's a lot more than the rio's 138/123 power figures. The Forte Hatch also has pretty much 25% extra cargo space and a bigger backseat. Not to mention there's things on the Forte you can't get on the Rio like Auto A/C. I cross shopped both and I would never buy a Rio over my Forte.
