Her website biography tells us that she is a long-time REALTOR, an author, and a real estate expert with many years of experience in flipping properties. In June of 2005 TLC introduced the world to Kirsten Kemp through 'Property Ladder' a show that follows new real estate investors as they begin flipping houses and hopefully selling them for a hefty profit. It's no secret that I am not a fan of shows such as 'Flip This House' or 'Flip That House' etcetera, but I suppose a few tips could be taken from Kirsten Kemp through the show. Kirsten is shown educating the new investors on the show as to what she would do to get the most out of their flip. More times than not the newbie investors do not follow her advice and usually suffer the consequences accordingly. Kirsten's advise usually comes in the form of where to spend money and where not to spend money throughout the flip as well as advice on pricing and marketing the property once the repairs have been made. My advice for a novice real estate investor, please only watch shows like this for entertainment purposes. While Kirsten Kemp may be a very talented investor and television star, this show or any other will not give you the knowledge that you need to become a successful investor. You will only get that through working with other experienced investors and learning as you go.
