As a movie buff I had wanted to visit the Mansfield Reformatory for a number of years. Got my chance last year and finally walking up to the very prison they used to film Shawshank Redemption in was a dream fulfilled. Sadly the excercise yard and outbuildings are gone but the main cell blocks and associated offices are still standing and are in the process of being restored for generations to come. If you ever get to Cleveland, Ohio, the town of Mansfield is an 80 mile car trip from Cleveland itself and is well worth the effort getting there. You will NOT be dissappointed, I can assure you. By the way folks, this was done as a holiday memory and purely just for fun and was done using a small Nikon Coolpix Digital camera

Jan 27, 2012 - @LA7777777777 Hadn't been to the States in years and after being lucky enough to get to the Antipodes 3 years in a row, I decided Cleveland it was. Talking of NZ, I have quite a bit of footage from NZ 2010 that has not made it onto YouTube yet. Watch this space !!
