Chapter 25 *Allison* - I held his hand as I laid there on the couch with my legs lying on his lap. He played a little bit with my fingers and there was a small smile on my face while I watched him. He reminded me of a little kid that plays with all the toys on Christmas morning. You know, the one that will never put the toy down. Yea, Zach reminded me of that kid. - "You seem so intrigued with my fingers" I said sitting up. He looked over at me with a small smile, "They're just really cute". I giggled, "My fingers are cute?" He nodded and kissed them. I pressed my lips together. "And so are your hands" he said and kissed the top of my hand. I almost blushed but just smiled sweetly. He smirked at me, "Don't forget your arms" he said and pecked my arm. "Anything else cute? I asked blushing. He leaned closer to me, "Everything about you is cute". I smiled at the compliment. Zach slowly moved closer and pressed his lips against mine for a couple seconds before I pulled back. - "Too soon?" he asked. I pressed my lips together and nodded once. "Sorry" he apologized. "It's okay" I said. It was a little quiet after that. The air was kinda awkward. It really had no reason to be, I just made it that way. I saw Zach now changed face. He was quiet and to himself, like he had just committed the worst crime on the face of the earth and the guilt was eating him alive. - "I've never been kissed" I said out in the open. Zach looked over at me a little confused, "What?" I stayed quiet. "You're kidding right?" he asked. I shook my head. "How is that even possible? You're the most beautiful girl on the face of the earth" he said. I looked down and blushed at his compliment. A little later I looked back up at him with his eyes looking at me for and explanation. "I was raised in a very overly protective family" I began, "And when you have parents like mine, dating doesn't exactly happen." "You mean they never let you go out with anyone?" he asked. "They never approved of any of the guys I liked" I told him. "Oh." - "So when you never date, that usually means you never get kissed" I finished. "So then your parents are okay with us dating?" he asked. I bit my lower lip, "Well..." "They don't know about me do they?" he asked with a little smirk. "It's not that they don't know about you" I started. "They just don't know about us" he finished for me. I nodded, "Yea". We just watched each other. "But that's gonna change" I said as I straightened myself and held his hand. "What do you mean?" he asked. I smiled a little, "You're gonna meet my parents" I paused, "At dinner tomorrow night." - Zach smiled, "That sounds great." I smiled and the bell rang. I removed my legs from where they were and Zach and I got off the couch inside the library. "I'll see you after school" Zach smiled. I smiled and kissed his cheek and he smiled.
